with an outbound stopover on the West Coast of America and a stop in New Zealand
on your way home. As with all of our holidays you are free to extend your stay
in any of these points; just ask our staff to rearrange the itinerary for you.
Days 1-2 Heathrow to Los Angeles
We begin with Titan's VIP Local Departure Service from your hometown to
Heathrow for your flight to Los Angeles where, upon arrival, you will be met
and transferred to your hotel. A half-day sightseeing tour is included to familiarise
you with Los Angeles. Maybe visit Hollywood or Universal Studios during your
stay.
Overnights (2): Los Angeles
Days 3-4 Los Angeles to Sydney Continue your journey today across the
Pacific to Sydney, one of the world's most beautiful cities, and its famous
harbour dominated by the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You'll cross
the International Date Line and "lose" a day during this part of your
trip. On arrival you will be transferred by private car to your central hotel.
Overnights (3): Sydney
Days 5-6 Sydney
Once again a half-day sightseeing tour is included to familiarise you with the
highlights. You'll see the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House close up as well
as visiting Darling Harbour, cosmopolitan Kings Cross and the famous surfing
beach at Bondi. The rest of your stay is at leisure but we have plenty of optional
tour suggestions for you. Perhaps visit the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley
vineyards or the crystal clear waters of Port Stephens to watch dolphins at
play. The energetic may like to try the Sydney Bridge Climb while in the city.
Day 7 Sydney to Cairns
You will be transferred by car to the airport today for your flight up the coast
to tropical Cairns - gateway to the Great Barrier Reef - and transferred on
arrival to your hotel.
Overnights (4): Cairns
Days 8-10 Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef
During your stay we've arranged for you a Quicksilver catamaran cruise to Agincourt
Reef at the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Dive, snorkel, or just marvel
from a semi-submersible or underwater observatory in a never-to-be-forgotten
experience. Also included in your stay is a Kuranda Rainforest tour with spectacular
views from the scenic railway. Tour the rainforest by amphibious vehicle and
meet some of the inhabitants - some cuddly and some less so! Enjoy a BBQ lunch,
see a performance by Pamagirri Aboriginal dancers and ride the Skyrail Cableway
above the rainforest canopy.
Days 11-12 Cairns to Ayers Rock
Transfer to the airport and savour the contrast as you head inland today to
the Red Centre and Ayers Rock. Transfer by coach to your resort in a vast sea
of sand, dominated by the mysterious rock formations of Uluru and the nearby
Olgas. During your stay make a point of witnessing sunrise or sunset on possibly
the world's most famous rock. Enjoy also the renowned Sounds of Silence Dinner,
which is included during your stay.
Overnights (2): Ayers Rock
Day 13 Ayers Rock to Melbourne
Return to the airport for your onward flight to stylish Melbourne, the capital
city of stately Victoria. On arrival you'll transfer by private car to your
downtown hotel.
Overnights (3): Melbourne
Days 14-15 Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road
A half-day tour of the city is included and during your stay you'll also enjoy
an all-day tour of the Great Ocean Road - one of the worlds most impressive
coastlines. See the magnificent Twelve Apostles, limestone stacks rising from
the waves, charming fishing villages and the stark brutality of wave-torn cliffs.
In Melbourne itself take a walk or a cruise along the Yarra River, by night
visit redeveloped Docklands or the Crown Entertainment complex with restaurants
for every taste and a casino to try your luck later on.
Day 16 Melbourne to Auckland
Transfer to the airport today and depart for New Zealand and Auckland across
the Tasman Sea. Once again you'll be transferred by private car to your city
centre hotel.
Overnights (3): Auckland
Days 17-18 Auckland
A city sightseeing tour is again included while the remainder of your stay is
at leisure. Perhaps take a day trip to the thermal wonderland of Rotorua, and
the Waitomo Glow-Worm Caves, always one of New Zealand's big attractions. In
Auckland itself, the "City of Sails" visit Viaduct Basin with its
busy marina, cosmopolitan cafes, shops and bars that sprung up for the 2003
America's Cup international yachting regatta. Keen yachtsmen can help crew an
ex- America's Cup yacht on a two hour cruise from the marina.
Day 19 Auckland to UK (via Los Angeles)

again you cross the International Date Line, this time gaining a day in mid-Pacific.
