Bookings & Bonding
Your bookings are fully bonded & financially protected
under the licenses of the parent company, Mark One Travel
Ltd. ATOL no.3252 & ABTA no. C3855.
Pricing
The price of your booking is shown on your confirmation invoice.
This may change with fluctuations in exchange rates. We reserve
the right to pass on any fluctuation of exchange rates, transport
costs including the taxes, dues, fuel surcharges or fees chargeable
for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation
fees at ports and airports.
Payment
Bookings can be made with a Deposit/payment. Travel Insurance
however will need to be paid in full. The balance of payment
due must be received by at least 8 weeks prior to departure
if a deposit is paid. If payment is not received by the due
date we do reserve the right to cancel the booking and to
apply charges. Payment terms vary with different suppliers;
Full terms and conditions will be made aware to you at the
time of booking.
Payment by cards
There are no surcharges on Switch, Maestro, Solo and Delta
cards. We are also happy to accept credit cards. Due to transaction
fees of Banks, charges apply as follows:
2%: Visa & MasterCard
3%: American Express, Diners Club and JCB.
If YOU Cancel
Should you have to cancel your travel arrangements, we would
need to be notified in writing. The date of cancellation will
be the date we receive this notice. Travel Insurance premium
will not be refunded and the following cancellation charges.
Cancellation 8 Weeks or more
Loss of deposit & Travel Insurance premium.
Cancellation within 8 Weeks
100% with loss of insurance premium.
Alterations by YOU
Once the booking has been accepted and you wish to make any
alterations to the booking details, e.g., date changes we
will do all we can to assist you. You will need to notify
us in writing. If the alteration is at least 60 days before
the departure date a £25.00 administration fee per change
per person will be charged. Any alteration made by you less
than 60 days before the date of departure, will be treated
as a cancellation. Changes of dates are considered a cancellation
and rebook and hence incur charges as specified.
If WE Cancel
We will not cancel your travel arrangements after the date
when the balance of the booking price is due. Unless we have
to do so as a result of the reason referred paragraph, or
unless payment is not received by us by the due date. Subject
to this we reserve the right to cancel your booking in its
absolute discretion on or after the date when payment of the
balance of the holiday price becomes due, if not paid. In
the event of cancellation for operational reasons: we will
inform you as soon as reasonably possible and you will be
offered a choice of alternative travel arrangements of comparable
standard, if available or a full refund of any money you have
paid.
Alterations by US
This is unlikely, but in the event that minor changes have
to be made, we reserve the right to do so. Should it be necessary
for us to make a material change to your booking, (which we
reserves its right in its absolute discretion to do so) we
will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
Travel
Transport by air, land or sea is subject to the terms and
conditions of the Principal providing the service some of
which limit or exclude liability. Airlines terms and
conditions are often the subject of international agreements.
Force Majure
We accept no responsibility for and shall not be liable in
respect of any loss, damage, alterations, delays, or changes
arising from circumstances outside its control, i.e., disputes,
terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disaster, fire or
adverse weather conditions, technical problems with transport,
closure or congestion of airport or ports, financial failure
of airlines, hotels, villa and apartment owners.
Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the law of England and Wales. Any dispute hereunder shall
be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Travel Documents
When travel documents are necessary to comply with the requirements
of any country to which the relevant holiday relates, then
it will be your responsibility to procure them. The carrier
has the right to refuse carriage for any person or persons
having incorrect documentation, i.e. visas, inoculations,
passports etc.
